ACUPUNCTURIST
DR. JAMES

Dr. James has been practicing Chinese Medicine and acupuncture since 2003 in Taiwan and has been practicing in Texas since 2012. He the 4th generation in his family to practice Chinese medicine, spanning over 150 years of passing down experience and knowledge!
Education
Dr. James graduated from Texas Health and Science University in 2012. During his studies, he had the most clinical hours of practice and was known as the student in practice with the most patient recommendations. Most of his patients show significant improvement after the first treatment session.
Dr. James is specializes in nerve damage, such as neuropathy, pinched nerve, trigeminal neuralgia, shingles, sciatica, carpal tunnel, abnormal tingling and numbness sensation; also in internal medicine, such as circulation, stress, digestive dysfunction, female issue, infertility, low energy, obesity, fibromyalgia.
Not only does Dr. James inherit the full knowledge of the most ancient medical science in the world but he’s continued his education of modern health information in order to better provide treatment to his patients. It is his philosophy that the treatment is more than a “treatment.” The goal of his practice is to give patients a healthier and better life quality in the most natural way, such as through acupuncture, herbal medicine and balance nutrition.

COURTNEY DEWBRE, DPT
LOCATION: TEMPLE
In April 2011, Courtney completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX. Prior to earning her D.P.T., Courtney attended the University of Oklahoma where she earned a bachelors in Health and Exercise Science in 2007.
She began her education at Hill College in Hillsboro, TX where she attended school on a softball scholarship. She then continued at St. Gregory's University in Shawnee, Oklahoma on another scholarship for softball where her career ended due to injuries. Courtney is a skilled manual therapist with a wide range of clinical experience including rehabilitation of spinal dysfunction, sports related injuries, injuries sustained from motor vehicle accidents, and total joint replacements.
Courtney and her family currently live in Temple, TX. She is married to Eddie Dewbre, a coach/teacher for Troy ISD. and they have one daughter, Colleen Dewbre. She enjoys working out, going to sporting events, going to the lake, attending church and scrapbooking.
PHYSICAL THERAPIST
NOLAN BEEDE, PT, DPT
LOCATION: KILLEEN
Dr. Beede is a firm believer in a healthy lifestyle by means of diet and exercise. This mindset is one reason he chose to become a Physical Therapist. He discovered the importance and effectiveness of physical therapy, after suffering injuries while participating in soccer, pole vaulting, cross country and many other sports.
He earned a scholarship playing soccer at Freed Hardmen University. Dr. Beede truly appreciated the great care given to him to aid in recovery and he has a desire is to do the same for others. From there, he began to pursue his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from St. Augustine University in Florida.
Graduating in 2017 and becoming board certified in Physical Therapy, he has gained extra training in Neurological disorders, aquatic therapy and manual therapy. In his spare time, Dr. Beede spends time with his 2 Dogs and the many friends he has already made in being a new comer to the Lone Star State.

JULIA CHAPMAN
LOCATION: TEMPLE
Education
Graduated South University in Austin Texas from their physical therapist assistant program, received license in July 2018.
Practice interests
Myofascial Decompression (cupping), Kinesiotaping, Orthopedics. Pain limits function; the goal of physical therapy is to eliminate pain and restore function. I use a process of immediate pain control followed by movement restoration to address pain-induced functional deficits.
Hobbies and Interests
Spending quality time with my husband, son, and English bulldog. Hiking, kayaking, paddle boarding, and exploring taco trucks across central Texas.
NURSE PRACTITIONER
MIKALA SCHOOLER
LOCATION: KILLEEN
Education
Mikala completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Tarleton State University in 2016. After completing her bachelor’s degree, she worked as a registered nurse while earning her Master of Science in Nursing.
In 2018, Mikala completed her master’s degree at South University in Austin, Texas. She is currently working toward her Doctorate of Nursing degree at Baylor University. Sic ‘em Bears!
Hobbies In her spare time, Mikala likes to be outdoors. She enjoys concerts, the lake, and floating the river. She loves spending time with her friends and family, including her niece and nephew. She is a proud dog mom to a puppy named Harvey. Mikala is enthusiastic to help others become happier and healthier.

BRANDON HAMMERS
LOCATION: KILLEEN
Brandon Hammers earned his Associate of Science Degree from Panola Junior College located in Carthage, Texas in 2010. He continued his education at Blinn College in Bryan/College Station, Texas and graduated in 2013 as a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant.
Brandon has extensive experience with neurological, acute, orthopedic and sports medicine patients. He spent the last 4 years working in the border city of El Paso, which allowed him to work with a large variety of diagnoses and help him to provide a more individualized approach to each patient.
His passion is to provide the highest level of clinical care to his patients on a personal and relational level. In his free time, Brandon enjoys hunting, fishing and playing a variety of sports. Brandon and his family currently live in Temple, TX, where his wife is a Resident Physician at Baylor Scott & White.
